The
Festival is an annual event and has been running since 1980. It takes
place on the first Sunday of July, exclusively for disabled anglers.
The
event is attended by anglers of all abilities and disabilities, form
the beginner to the experienced angler. They travel form all across
thecountry to attend this very popular event, held on well stocked water,
here at South Cerney Angling Club in the heart of the Cotswold Water
Park.

It
is a great day out for all, but many make a weekend of it and find local
accomodation. Many travel down the day before and have a get together
at our licenced clubhouse, where there'll be live entertainment on the
eve off the event.
Competitors
are welcome to bring a helper with them, but if they don't there are
always a good crowd of stewards willing to lend a hand.
There
are 120 places available, so to avoid disappointment be sure to get
your application forms in as soon as possible. Juniors are more than
welcome.
There
is a large social side to the even which offers disabled persons a chance
to get together with old friends and make some new ones too.
There's
also trophies and great prizes for the winners.
